Ratings: “Awkward” Bests S4 Finale But Hits Premiere Low; “Faking It,” “Todrick” Air

While Monday’s fifth “Awkward” season premiere comfortably outperformed the season four finale, it trailed the season four premiere — and all other season openers.

Airing in its new Monday at 9PM timeslot, the episode drew a 0.72 adults 18-49 rating with 1.287 million viewers.

The aforementioned season four premiere drew a 0.8 rating with 1.629 million viewers. No previous premiere — including the series premiere, which aired at 11PM, drew below a 0.8 in adults 18-49 or 1.717 million in viewership.

As noted, “Awkward” did best the season four finale in both columns. That episode, which aired on November 25, 2014, drew a 0.50 with 1.038 million viewers.

— The season premiere of “Awkward” led into the midseason premiere of “Faking It.” It drew a 0.48 with 922,000 viewers.

Like “Awkward,” it bested its most recent (season 2A) finale (0.40, 891,000) but trailed the previous (season 2A) premiere (0.51, 1.042 million).

— “Faking it” led into the premieres of “Todrick” (0.27, 504,000) and “Girl Code Live” (0.19, 394,000).
