Credited to “Descendants” stars Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Booboo Stewart, and Sofia Carson, the group version of “Rotten to the Core” remains positioned on the Billboard Hot 100.
On the heels of the music video release, Sofia Carson’s “Wicked World” solo version is now Bubbling Under that Hot 100 chart.
Thanks primarily to streams associated with (and resulting from) the video, Carson’s “Rotten to the Core” appears at #7 on this week’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 listing. The chart ranks the top songs that have yet to appear on the actual Hot 100.
It is the week’s highest-charting new Bubbling Under entry. It is also the only “Descendants” track listed on the chart.
The aforementioned group version of “Rotten” is #66 on the actual Hot 100. The song, which has gone as high as #38 on the chart, remains a strong streaming performer.
