Keith Urban, Macklemore, Carrie Underwood Performing On “Tonight Show”

CBS’ “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” begins its run on September 8.

To compete with the offering — and premiere its “fall season” — NBC has booked some heavy-hitters for that week’s string of “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” episodes.

The September 8 episode will feature Richard Gere, Jessica Simpson, and Keith Urban. The former two represent interview guests; the latter will perform.

Other scheduled interview guests include Justin Timberlake (9/9), Ellen DeGeneres (9/9, Andy Samberg (9/10), Carrie Underwood (9/10), Donald Trump (9/11), and Terrence Howard (9/11).

Other scheduled performers include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (9/9), Carrie Underwood (9/10), and Pharrell** (9/11).

**NBC refers to Pharrell’s gig as a “special never-before-seen performance.”
