Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” Hits 495K Sales; Crossing 500K This Week

When the August 21-27 sales tracking week concluded, Demi Lovato’s “Cool For The Summer” was within striking distance of the 500,000 US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, the song shifted 50,271 copies during the aforementioned tracking week. The weekly mark, which positions “Cool for the Summer” as the week’s 14th-best-selling single, brings the song’s US cume to 494,521.

The song has sold considerably more than 5,479 copies since the commencement of the August 28-September 3 tracking week. As a result, its real-time total already exceeds 500,000.

Next week’s sales report will confirm that it has officially crossed the half-million mark.
