Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” Crosses 900K US Sales Mark

Fall Out Boy’s hit single “Uma Thurman” continues to charge toward the 1 million US sales mark.

According to Nielsen Music, “Uma” moved 45,053 copies during the August 14-20 tracking week. Enough for the #16 spot on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart, the tally brings the song’s US sales cume to 915,427.

It will officially cross the 1 million mark in early September.

Cut from the band’s “American Beauty/American Psycho,” “Uma Thurman” is already certified platinum under the RIAA’s digital program. The certification confirms a digital unit total in excess of 1 million.

A digital unit is equivalent to a paid download or 100 streams.
