The Weeknd’s “The Hills” Joins Pop Radio’s Top 30

The Weeknd, whose “Can’t Feel My Face” remains the #1 song on the pop radio airplay chart, has another representative making a rapid ascent.

“The Hills,” that single, rises five places to #27 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart.

It scored ~2,837 spins during the August 16-22 tracking week (+1,191).

The increased airplay is surely being appreciated by pop listeners; per the most recent Mediabase/Critical Mass Media callout report, “The Hills” is one of pop radio’s best-testing songs.

News of the song’s Top 30 pop ascent comes as the song crosses the 1 million US sales mark.
