Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Holds in A18-49, Rises Slightly in Viewers

After suffering several consecutive viewership declines, MTV’s “Scream” enjoyed an uptick – albeit a small one – this Tuesday.

The episode, which held steady in adults 18-49, also enjoyed a lift in adults 18-34.

Tuesday’s “Scream,” which was the eighth first season episode, posted a 0.30 adults 18-49 rating, a 0.46 adults 18-34 rating and a viewership total of 645,000.

Last week’s broadcast scored a 0.30 in A18-49, a 0.43 in A18-34 and a 639,000 audience total.

Despite its consistently modest live+same-day ratings, “Scream” has already earned a second season renewal from MTV.
