Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” Goes Top 25 at Hot AC; A Great Big World, Major Lazer Reach Top 30

With a repeat #1 and no additions to the Top 5, Top 10, Top 15 or Top 20, this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary airplay chart is a fairly uneventful one.

The first notable change concerns the Top 25. That portion of the chart welcomes a new arrival in the form of Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s.”

The crossover Triple A and alternative hit rises three places to a new peak of #24 on this week’s Hot AC chart.

That new peak position is attributable to the song’s ~1,374 tracking week spins (+294).

Movement also occurs at the Top 30 checkpoint. A Great Big World’s soaring “Hold Each Other (featuring Futuristic)” and Major Lazer’s “Lean On (featuring DJ Snake & MØ)” reach #28 and #29, respectively.

Up nine places, the former grabs #28 thanks to the ~765 plays it received during the August 2-8 tracking week (+394). The latter rises three places to #29 on the strength of its ~724 plays (+132).
