The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” Crosses the 1 Million US Sales Mark

The Weeknd | ABC

Final data for the July 31-August 6 tracking week has not yet been published, but enough insight is available to confirm a new milestone for The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.”

When the aforementioned tracking period came to a close, The Weeknd’s smash hit single boasted a US sales total in excess of 1 million.

Going into the tracking week, “Face” had moved what Nielsen Music reports as approximately 926,000 copies. While an iTunes issue affected its available for a portion of the July 31-August 6 tracking week, the single still drove considerably more than 100,000 — let alone 74,000 — downloads during the seven-day period.

As a result, it is now a member of the million sales club.

Fellow “Beauty Behind the Madness” single “The Hills” will soon join as well. When the August 6 tracking week concluded, its sales total was in the neighborhood of 850,000.
