Pentatonix’s New Single “Can’t Sleep Love” Scores Hype at iHeart Summit

Pentatonix [RCA]

While a capella sensation Pentatonix has proven it can sell albums, it has yet to establish a non-holiday radio presence.

That may change in the near future. At Wednesday’s iHeartMedia Music Summit presentation, RCA’s Joe Riccitelli touted his label’s passion for the group and worked to generate enthusiasm for its new single.

“Can’t Sleep Love,” that single, was played before the audience of radio professionals.

Neither an impact date nor a radio promotion strategy was shared, but insofar as “Can’t Sleep Love” received attention at a radio event, it is clear RCA believes Pentatonix can — and should — occupy the airwaves.
