Demi Lovato’s “Confident” Slated as Next Single

Demi Lovato’s current single is “Cool for the Summer.”

At the iHeartMedia Music Summit, the Island Records team (which is involved in the partnership supporting Lovato’s Safehouse Records project) identified the Demi Lovato single it believes will be cool for the fall.

Per correspondent reports, the second single from Lovato’s next album will be “Confident.”

The launch is not imminent; the aforementioned “Cool for the Summer” is still climbing at the pop and hot adult contemporary radio formats and likely remains many weeks away from its peak. But insofar as the summit presentation was designed to generate excitement – and, yes, confidence – in Lovato’s forthcoming releases, it made sense to tease the latest single from her inaugural Safehouse Records project.
