X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” Earns 7th Week as Alt Radio’s #1 Song, Goes Top 25 at Hot AC

X Ambassadors (NBC)

X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” may have suffered a slight week-over-week airplay loss, but it comfortably holds its position atop the Mediabase alternative airplay chart.

Spun 3,211 times during the July 19-25 tracking week (-45), “Renegades” claims #1 for a seventh straight week. It again does so with a comfortable margin of victory.

twenty one pilots’ “Tear in My Heart,” which repeats as the format’s #2 song, received 2,805 plays (-9) during the seven-day tracking period.

Beck’s “Dreams” (#3, = | 2,470, +119), Mumford & Sons’ “The Wolf” (#4, = | 2,404, +78) and Elle King’s “Ex’s and Oh’s” (#5, = | 2,379, +225) complete the top five.

— While its greatest success — and iHeartRadio “On the Verge” push — came at alternative radio, “Renegades” is also performing well on other formats. Spun 646 times (+26), it rises one place to #3 on this week’s Mediabase Triple A airplay chart.

It concurrently reaches #24 (+2) on the hot adult contemporary chart. It received 1,306 weekly spins (+258).
