While Sam Hunt’s crossover release “Take Your Time” has begun to freefall at pop radio, it maintains its upward mobility at the hot adult contemporary format.

This week, it returns to the Top 15 — and reaches a new peak — on the Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart.

Spun ~2,387 times during the July 19-25 tracking week (+183), the former country radio #1 rises four places to #13 on the Hot AC airplay chart. Its previous high mark was #15.

The song concurrently reaches the Top 15 at adult contemporary radio. It rises two places to #15 on the strength of its ~501 tracking week spins (+79).

— While Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” re-enters the Top 15 on this week’s Hot AC airplay chart, another song makes its first appearance inside that portion of the chart. Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite,” which is the current iHeartRadio “On the Verge” song, rises four places to a new peak of #15 on the Hot AC airplay chart. It received ~1,943 tracking week spins (+356).

“Cecilia” simultaneously holds the #7 position at alternative radio.
