Ratings: Sundance’s “Rectify” Falls Again, Draws 142,000 Viewers

Sundance’s critically acclaimed drama “Rectify” once again suffered a week-over-week ratings loss.

Thursday’s episode, which was the third of the ongoing third season, posted a 0.02 adults 18-49 rating with 142,000 viewers. Both numbers trail those of last week’s broadcast, which managed a 0.03 with 165,000.

The 7/9 season premiere delivered a 0.07 with 224,000 total audience members.

Because last week’s episode had been made available for streaming in advance of the broadcast premiere, it possessed a built-in excuse for its decline. This week’s episode did not have that excuse.

While the ratings are not strong, “Rectify” contributes immensely to the network’s brand. As a result, it has been renewed for a fourth season.
