Maroon 5’s New Single “Feelings” Impacts Pop Radio on August 4

Maroon 5 (NBC)

In failing to reach pop radio’s Top 5, let alone its Top 2, Maroon 5’s underperforming “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” ended a streak that spanned eight songs and nearly four years.

Beginning August 4, it will attempt to start a new streak.

Interscope confirms that the band’s “Feelings” will formally impact the pop radio format on that date.

Written by Adam Levine, Shellback and OZGO, “Feelings” is the fifth official single from Maroon 5’s “V.”

Previous singles “Maps,” “Animals,” “Sugar” and “Summer” reached Mediabase pop peaks of #2, #1, #1 and #9, respectively.
