Sam Smith, Kaya Stewart, Shawn Mendes, Charlie Puth Enter Top 30 at Pop Radio

A total of four songs advance into the Top 30 of this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Leading the charge is Sam Smith’s “Like I Can.” The latest single from Smith’s hit “In the Lonely Hour” rises seven places to a new peak of #27. It received ~2,416 spins during the July 12-18 tracking week (+528).

Kaya Stewart’s debut single “In Love with a Boy” also makes its inaugural Top 30 appearance this week. Up three places, the song reaches #28 on the strength of its ~2,398 tracking week spins (+138).

“Stitches” had already established itself as the highest-charting radio entry of Shawn Mendes’ career. This week, the teen singer-songwriter’s single crosses into the Top 30. Spun ~2,314 times (+118), it rises three places to #29.

Charlie Puth’s “Marvin Gaye (featuring Meghan Trainor)” claims the last available Top 30 slot. It rises three places to a new high of #30 thanks to its ~2,248 weekly plays (+338).
