Cold War Kids’ “First” Goes Top 10 at Alt Radio; The Struts Enter Top 15, Coleman Hell Top 20

Powered by the alternative radio format’s second-greatest weekly airplay gain, Cold War Kids’ new “First” enters the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase airplay chart.

Spun 1,652 times during the July 12-18 tracking week (+353), “First” rises two places to a new peak of #9 on the chart.

“First” is the week’s lone addition to the Top 10. One song does, however, reach the weekly Top 15.

Bolstered by an impressive weekly gain of its own, The Struts’ “Could Have Been Me” rises two places to a new peak of #14. It received 1,162 plays during the aforementioned tracking week (+294).

A single song also reaches this week’s Top 20. Coleman Hell’s “2 Heads,” that song, enjoys a three place rise to #20. It scored 755 weekly plays (+164).
