Ratings: “Astronaut Wives Club” Rises Again; “Mistresses” Gains in Demo (Updated)

Update: While the increase was not as significant as that indicated by the fast national ratings report, “The Astronaut Wives Club” indeed enjoyed a second consecutive performance increase.

According to final broadcast data, the latest “Wives” drew a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating with 4.44 million viewers. Both numbers top those of last week’s episode, which posted a 0.8 with 4.28 million.

ABC’s other programming:

“Mistresses” – 0.9 with 3.29 million viewers this week; last week’s posted a 0.8 with 3.49 million
“Rookie Blue” – 0.7 with 3.66 million; last week’s posted a 0.7 with 4.24 million.

ABC’s freshman drama “The Astronaut Wives Club” enjoyed another week-over-week ratings gain.

Per fast national data, the period drama delivered an improved 1.0 adults 18-49 rating and 4.51 million viewership total this week. Last week’s episode, which bested its predecessor, posted a 0.8 with 4.28 million.

“Wives” was the only ABC show to enjoy an episode-to-episode gain in adults 18-49 or viewership.

9PM lead-out “Mistresses” posted a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 3.28 million. Last week’s episode posted the same 0.8 but a stronger 3.49 million viewership average.

The same was true of “Rookie Blue,” which matched last week’s 0.7 adults 18-49 rating but delivered a reduced viewership total of 3.61 million. The previous episode reached 4.24 million.
