Jidenna’s “Classic Man” Remains #1 at Rhythmic; The Weeknd Rockets Into Top 5

Rhythmic radio’s resident “Classic Man” is not a one-and-done sort of guy.

Jidenna’s breakthrough tune spends a second week atop the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart.

The song’s second week at #1 comes courtesy the 5,800 spins it received during the July 5-11 tracking period (+372). Runner-up David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack),” which rises one place from last week’s position, received 5,502 plays (+244) within the same window.

The more concerning threat may instead be The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Thanks to the format’s greatest weekly spin gain (+1,069), “Face” rises four places to #3 on this week’s chart. It received 5,129 plays during the July 5-11 tracking week and is thus approaching striking distance of the #1 slot.

Omarion’s “Post to Be (featuring Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko)” (#4) and DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” (#5) complete the top five. The former mirrors last week’s position, while the latter trails last week’s mark by three places.
