Whether it will ultimately rank as the #1 song of the summer remains to be seen, but OMI’s “Cheerleader” continues to move closer to becoming a #1 song in the summer.

Up one place, “Cheerleader” reaches a new peak of #2 on this week’s edition of the Billboard Hot 100.

In conjunction with its new Hot 100 peak, “Cheerleader” operates at peaks on all three Hot 100 subcharts. It rises one place to #1 on Digital Songs (170,000 sales), holds at #4 on Streaming Songs (12.6 million US streams) and rises to #7 on Radio Songs (94 million).

Thanks to its weekly sales total, “Cheerleader” now boasts a cumulative mark in excess of 1 million. At the end of the June 29-July 5 tracking week, its US total stood at approximately 1.15 million.
