Ratings: MTV’s “Scream” Starts Softly, “Teen Wolf” Hits Viewership Low

Leading out of the least-watched episode of “Teen Wolf” on record, the series premiere of MTV’s “Scream” posted underwhelming marks.

Airing from 10-11:07, the horror-comedy adaptation drew a 0.45 adults 18-49 rating with 1.026 million. While not objectively terrible within a cable context, neither number befits the series’ considerable hype and aggressive promotional campaign.

The aforementioned “Teen Wolf” also failed to impress. One day after posting its worst season premiere numbers on record, a special Tuesday edition of “Teen Wolf” sank to a series low in total viewership.

The episode posted a 0.50 adults 18-49 rating with 1.176 million viewers.
