Little Mix’s “Black Magic” Picked Up By Chicago’s B96; Tove Lo, Selena Gomez Also Added

While Mediabase’s pop radio add board does not close until Tuesday afternoon, Chicago’s powerhouse B96 has already announced its weekly pickups.

Little Mix’s “Black Magic,” Tove Lo’s “Timebomb” and Selena Gomez’ “Good for You (featuring A$AP Rocky)” appear on that list.

Scheduled to formally impact pop radio on July 14, “Black Magic” has been receiving early action from numerous pop stations. In addition to thirteen weekly plays from the aforementioned B96, “Black Magic” has also received a healthy dose of spins from Los Angeles’ Radio Disney, San Francisco’s 99-7 NOW, San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9, Norfolk’s NOW 105, Detroit’s 98-7 AMP and Las Vegas’ 104.3 NOW.

A follow-up to Tove Lo’s Top 5 hit “Talking Body,” “Timebomb” is slated to officially impact in late July. In addition to B96, it is receiving early airplay from Long Island’s 106.1 BLI and San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9.

“Good for You,” which formally impacted as pop’s most added song last week, debuted at #22 on the Mediabase airplay chart. It is spinning in most key markets.
