OMI’s “Cheerleader” Enters Pop Radio’s Top 10; Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face” Top 15

Already a Top 5 hit on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100, OMI’s summer smash “Cheerleader” vaults into the Top 10 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up three places, “Cheerleader” reaches a new peak of #8 on the listing. It received ~10,429 spins during the June 21-27 tracking week.

The song’s week-over-week gain of 1,691 is the greatest for a song in the Top 10 and the third-greatest overall lift on the chart. Only Selena Gomez’ #22 “Good For You” (+3,931) and The Weeknd’s #13 “Can’t Feel My Face” (+2,377) enjoyed bigger lifts.

Up four places from last week’s position, the latter song makes its first appearance in the Top 15. “Can’t Feel My Face” received a total of 8,218 weekly plays.
