Breaking Benjamin’s “Failure” Holds #1 at Rock Radio for 8th Week

Cut from what will soon be named the first #1 album of Breaking Benjamin’s career, single “Failure” earns an eighth straight week atop the Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

Despite suffering a week-over-week loss, “Failure” again received enough airplay to hold off Theory of a Deadman’s #2 “Angel”. “Failure” received a format-leading ~1,937 spins during the June 21-27 tracking week, while “Angel” garnered ~1,864 plays.

“Failure” appears on “Dark Before Dawn,” which is Breaking Benjamin’s first studio album since 2009. Expected to sell upwards of 135,000 copies this week, it is poised to comfortably top the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Like last week, the remainder of the top 5 includes Royal Blood’s “Little Monster” (#3), Three Days Grace’s “Human Race” (#4) and Halestorm’s “Amen” (#5).
