Hours after officially launching, the week’s three highest-profile new albums all occupied spots within the Top 4 on iTunes’ US all-genre album sales chart.

Leading the charge is Tori Kelly’s “Unbreakable Smile,” which currently holds the store’s #1 position. Unsurprising given its discounted $6.99 price and the fact that it was expected to generate a very high percentage of its first week sales from iTunes, the quick ascent to #1 is nonetheless impressive.

Taylor Swift’s enduring “1989” holds the #2 position, while Breaking Benjamin’s new “Dark Before Dawn” is situated at #3. “Dark Before Dawn” has already spanned a seven-week rock radio #1 in “Failure.”

Expected to be an awards contender, Kacey Musgraves’ eagerly anticipated new “Pageant Material” follows at #4 on the iTunes sales chart.

While the latter two trail “Unbreakable Smile” on iTunes, they are expected to fare comparatively well in the overall music marketplace.

James Taylor’s “Before This World” is #5.
