Ratings: FX’s “Tyrant” Returns with Series Low Performance

Tuesday’s second season “Tyrant” premiere was the show’s worst-performing episode yet.

The episode drew a soft 0.30 adults 18-49 rating with 1.063 million viewers. Both marks represent series lows for the FX drama.

The 2014 “Tyrant” series premiere posted a 0.61 rating with 2.10 million viewers. The first season finale scored a 0.53 with 1.52 million viewers.

Far from a blockbuster performer, “Tyrant” demonstrated impressive adults 18-49 stability throughout its first season. The rating for Tuesday’s season two premiere represents a rare departure from the show’s usual range.
