Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” Goes Platinum, Reaches Top 60 at Hot AC

Already the group’s first Top 15 pop radio hit, first Top 25 rhythmic radio track and first Top 20 entry on the Billboard Hot 100, “Worth It (featuring Kid Ink)” has established itself as a breakthrough for Fifth Harmony.

It is not done accumulating achievements.

According to Epic Records, the single has been certified platinum under the RIAA’s digital program. The platinum certification confirms that “Worth It” has shifted at least one million units in the United States.

A unit is equivalent to a digital download or 100 audio/visual streams.

After reaching a peak of #11 this past week, “Worth It” is set to officially reach the Top 10 on this coming Sunday’s edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. Prior to “Worth It,” no Fifth Harmony single had ever gone higher than #19.

“Worth It” is also beginning to make inroads at hot adult contemporary. Up nine places, it appeared at #57 on Sunday’s official Mediabase Hot AC airplay chart. It received 154 spins during the May 24-30 tracking week.

If this week’s airplay gain mirrors that achieved last week (+62), “Worth It” will enter the Top 50 on this week’s Hot AC chart.
