Neither alternative radio nor active rock radio features a change atop the Mediabase airplay mountain this week.

Muse’s “Dead Inside” earns a fourth week atop the former format’s chart, while Breaking Benjamin’s “Failure” scores a fourth week in the active rock throne.

For “Dead Inside,” this week’s victory comes courtesy the song’s 2,572 weekly spins. Despite trailing last week’s mark by 133, the count remains ahead of the 2,223 earned by Death Cab for Cutie’s #2 “Black Sun.” That song, too, suffered an airplay loss during the May 24-30 tracking week (-115).

X Ambassadors’ “Renegades” lifts into the #3 position this week (2,109 spins), while twenty one pilots’ “Tear in My Heart” (#4, 1,886) and Mumford & Sons’ “Believe” (#5, 1,810) complete the top five.

A weekly spin count of 2,150 (+45) powers this week’s active rock victory for Breaking Benjamin’s “Failure.”

Zac Brown Band’s “Heavy is the Head (featuring Chris Cornell)” holds steady at #2 (1,806 spins), while Royal Blood’s “Little Monster” rises to #3 (1,443). Theory of a Deadman’s “Angel” (#4, 1,433) and Three Days Grace’s “Human Race” (#5, 1,420) also appear within the active rock Top 5.
