Nicki Minaj’s “The Night is Still Young” Hits Rhythmic’s Top 15, Pop’s Top 20

The latest single from Nicki Minaj’s “The Pinkprint” continues to make strides at rhythmic and pop radio.

Up four places, the track reaches #15 on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart. It surges five places to a high of #18 at pop.

By entering the Top 20, it becomes the highest-charting pop entry from “The Pinkprint.” “Anaconda,” which previously held that mark, peaked at #21.

Its new rhythmic position is attributable to its ~2,164 tracking week spins (+335). Along with Tech N9ne’s “Hood Go Crazy (featuring 2 Chainz and BoB)” (#14, +2, ~2,539), it is one of two additions to this week’s rhythmic top 15.

Its new pop position comes courtesy ~4,990 weekly spins (+813). Maroon 5’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt,” which also makes its first Top 20 appearance this week, goes all the way to #15 (#15, +7, ~6,286).
