Sam Hunt’s “House Party” Enters Country Radio’s Top 40

As his former #1 country hit “Take Your Time” begins to make inroads at the pop, hot adult contemporary and adult contemporary formats, Sam Hunt’s follow-up “House Party” is beginning to rise at country radio.

The single, which is cut from his gold-certified debut album “Montevallo,” appears at #39 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

Up nine places from last week’s position, “House Party” received 1,077 spins and 6.924 million audience impressions during the May 17-23 tracking week.

“House Party” is Hunt’s third-straight Top 40 country hit. Previous singles “Take Your Time” and “Leave the Night On” ended up reaching #1 at the format.

Hunt’s “House Party” is one of two additions to this week’s Top 40. Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up,” the other, debuts at #28.
