Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” Music Video Sets the 24 Hour Vevo Record

Move over, “Anaconda.” A new music video now holds the Vevo record for most views in a 24-hour period.

In a press release Thursday, the music video streaming service confirms that Taylor Swift’s celebrity-heavy “Bad Blood” video amassed a whopping 20.1 million views in its first 24 hours. That bests the 19.6 million garnered by “Anaconda” — and sets a new all-time Vevo record.

The “Bad Blood” video opened this year’s Billboard Music Awards ceremony four hours before officially launching on Vevo. In the interim, fans had ample access to unauthorized streams that did not count toward the Vevo record.

“Bad Blood” appears destined to join eleven previous Swift videos in crossing the 100 million viewers milestone.
