Songs from two of the most bankable radio acts impacted the hot adult contemporary format this week.

Predictably, those two songs received colossal support from the format’s programmers.

Taylor Swift’s new “Bad Blood (featuring Kendrick Lamar)”* and Maroon 5’s new “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” rank as the Hot AC’s most and second-most added songs, respectively.

The former, which is the follow-up to Swift’s #1 Hot AC hit “Style,” tops the Mediabase add board on the strength of pickups from 62 monitored stations.

The latter, which is the follow-up to Maroon 5’s #1 Hot AC hit “Sugar,” was added by 52 monitored stations this week.

Both songs have already gained impressive traction on the format’s airplay chart. Maroon 5’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” appears at #39 on Mediabase’s rolling Hot AC airplay chart, while “Bad Blood” is currently #42. The latter, meanwhile, debuts at #40 on the official edition of Billboard’s corresponding Adult Pop Songs chart.

Most added last week, Ed Sheeran’s “Photograph” follows as this week’s third-most added song. It received another 32 adds.

Kelly Clarkson’s new “Invincible” follows with 26 adds, while a total of 16 adds earns Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” the fifth-most added distinction.

Other popular Hot AC options: Sam Smith’s “Like I Can” (14 adds, 6th-most added), Allen Stone’s “Freedom” (11 adds, 7th-most added), Hozier’s “Someone New” (10 adds, 8th-most added, tie), Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” (10 adds, 8th-most added, tie) and Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” (9 adds, 10th-most added).
