MTV Orders 12 More Episodes of “Finding Carter,” Says Alex Saxon

The majority of this season’s “Finding Carter” episodes have set series low marks in total viewership.

Despite that fact, MTV ordered an additional twelve episodes of the drama.

Cast member Alex Saxon made the announcement in a brief YouTube video.

In posting slight week-over-week growth, last week’s “Finding Carter” ended a streak of five straight viewership declines. Each of those declines resulted in a series low.

Of the seven season two episodes to air, only the season premiere attracted an audience in excess of one million viewers.

“Finding Carter,” nonetheless, fares more favorably with MTV’s core 12-34 demographic. It also garners solid critical marks.
