Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” Goes #1 at Pop; Walk The Moon Hits Top 5, Tove Lo Top 10

Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” is officially the #1 song at pop radio.

After grabbing the top spot on Saturday’s rolling chart, “See You Again” extends its lead on Sunday’s official Mediabase pop airplay listing. The song’s weekly victory comes courtesy the ~17,616 spins it received during the May 10-16 tracking week.

The Weeknd’s “Earned It,” which claimed #1 last week, slips to #2. It was spun ~16,616 times during the aforementioned seven day period.

Not simply the week’s most played pop song, “See You Again” also ranks as its greatest gainer. Its week-over-week spin count registers at a whopping ~3,657. No other song’s gain came within 1,000 of that mark.

Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance,” the song responsible for the second-greatest gain (~+2,397), grabs #3 on this week’s airplay chart. Spun ~15,674 times during the tracking week, it rises three places and makes its first Top 5 appearance.

Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (~15,611, #4) and Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” (~14,558, #5) complete the top five.

New to the weekly Top 10 is Tove Lo’s “Talking Body.” Up two places this week, the song grabs #10 on the strength of its ~9,626 weekly spins.
