Taylor Swift Debuts “Bad Blood” Video with Kendrick Lamar Remix

Last month, Headline Planet broke the news that a remixed version of “Bad Blood” would serve as the fourth single from Taylor Swift’s “1989.”

Label Republic Records played coy with the story.  The label twice confirmed the “Bad Blood” plan on its radio promotions website — and once the remix specifically — only to remove the listings when the general public caught wind.

During the opening segment of Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, all speculation was formally put to bed.  Taylor Swift debuted the celebrity heavy video for “Bad Blood” and in the process introduced a remixed version featuring Kendrick Lamar.

Lamar raps on both of the song’s revamped verses.

The remix will be imminently sent to pop and rhythmic radio.  A push at hot adult contemporary radio is also confirmed, but it is presently unclear whether the effort will concentrate on airplay for the remixed version or the original version.

Taylor Swift is up for numerous awards at Sunday’s BBMA ceremony.
