Ratings: “Lip Sync Battle” Rises for Julianne vs. Derek Hough Episode

A showdown between Julianne and Derek Hough resulted in a week-over-week ratings increase for Spike’s “Lip Sync Battle.”

This week’s “Lip Sync Battle” drew a 0.77 adults 18-49 rating with 1.55 million viewers. Both numbers best those of the previous broadcast (Malin Akerman vs. Stephen Merchant), which drew a 0.66 with 1.300 million viewers.

It was the show’s second consecutive uptick.

“Lip Sync Battle” was cable television’s top original entertainment program and fourth-highest-rated original broadcast. Only ESPN’s two NBA Playoff games and the 1:30AM edition of “SportsCenter” fared better with adults 18-49.
