The Voice’s Sawyer Fredericks Earns 2 iTunes Bonuses; Meghan Linsey Wins 1 (Updated)

Update: This week’s iTunes multiplier bonus landscape mirrors that of last week: Team Pharrell contestant Sawyer Fredericks won two, while Team Blake’s Meghan Linsey earned one.

When voting closed at 12PM ET, Sawyer Fredericks’ “A Thousand Years” and “For What It’s Worth” were positioned at #2 and #3, respectively, on the all-genre iTunes sales chart. Per the official “The Voice” rules, each song will have its iTunes vote total (sales) multiplied by ten.

Positioned at #5 when voting closed, Meghan Linsey’s “Tennessee Whiskey” will also receive such a bonus.

No other song scored a bonus this week. At #11 when voting closed, Joshua Davis’ “I Can’t Make You Love Me” was closest.

Here is how all ten songs ranked when voting closed:

2) Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell – A Thousand Years
3) Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell – For What It’s Worth
5) Meghan Linsey – Team Blake – Tennessee Whiskey
11) Joshua Davis – Team Adam – I Can’t Make You Love Me
21) Meghan Linsey – Team Blake – I’m Not the Only One
23) Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell – Oh Mary Don’t You Weep
29) India Carney – Team Christina – Earth Song

=========================

Last week, Sawyer Fredericks sent “Shine On” and “Take Me to the River” into the top ten of the all-genre iTunes sales chart. He consequently received 10x iTunes vote multipliers for both songs.

When the west coast version of this week’s “The Voice” broadcast came to a close, the Team Pharrell contestant once again had two recordings in the top ten. If they can stay there through the 12PM ET voting deadline — and they surely will — he will again receive a pair of bonuses.

“For What It’s Worth” and “A Thousand Years,” this week’s performances, are currently positioned at #3 and #4, respectively. They are the week’s best-selling singles.

They will doubtfully, however, be the only two to score bonuses. Meghan Linsey, who last week earned a bonus for her “Amazing Grace,” is expected to receive one for this week’s edition of “Tennessee Whiskey.” Already #12 on iTunes, the Team Blake contestant’s recording seems like a lock to reach the Top 10 before voting closes.

As of 1AM ET, here is how this week’s ten “The Voice” numbers are charting on iTunes:

3) Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell – For What It’s Worth
4) Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell – A Thousand Years
12) Meghan Linsey – Team Blake – Tennessee Whiskey
24) Joshua Davis – Team Adam – I Can’t Make You Love Me
31) Meghan Linsey – Team Blake – I’m Not the Only One
35) Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell – Oh Mary Don’t You Weep
45) India Carney – Team Christina – Earth Song
48) India Carney – Team Christina – Gravity
51) Joshua Davis – Team Adam – When I Paint My Masterpiece
70) Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell – One
