Powered by the week’s fourth greatest airplay gain, Blake Shelton’s “Sangria” rockets six places to a new peak of #12 on the Mediabase country radio singles chart.

Twelfth in chart points, the song would also rank at #12 on charts based on airplay or audience. “Sangria” received ~4,146 spins and ~33.170 million audience impressions during the May 3-9 tracking week.

“Sangria” represents Shelton’s shot at a fifteenth-straight country radio #1. If it reaches the apex of the chart, it would become his 20th overall #1.

Also new to the weekly Top 15 is Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush.”

The track, which is currently #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Digital Songs charts, vaults five places to a new peak of #14. Its weekly spin count of ~3,979 was the format’s 16th-greatest, while its audience impression count of ~30.995 million ranks as country’s 14th-greatest this week.

Of note: when his contestant Meghan Linsey sang “Girl Crush” on NBC’s “The Voice,” Shelton referred to it as his favorite song on country radio.
