FOX drama “Bones” is sticking around for an eleventh season.
As are stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.
On the heels of news that 20th Century FOX renewed its deals with the actors, the FOX network renewed the series for the 2015-16 season.
While its ratings have been unspectacular, performance was not expected to thwart its renewal effort. The only inhibitor to season eleven would have been the loss of Deschanel and Boreanaz. Once they signed on, so too did FOX.
With Stephen Nathan set to embark on a hiatus, Jonathan Collier and Michael Peterson will assume showrunner duties.
