Ciara | ABC

Responsible for writing an array of successful country songs, Chris Stapleton is now represented by a major label album of his own.

According to Hits Daily Double, Stapleton’s “Traveller” is on pace to sell 21-24,000 pure copies this week. The inclusion of Track Equivalent Album (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and Streaming Equivalent Albums (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) will produce a first week consumption total in the 23-25,000 range.

Ciara’s new release “Jackie” will land in a similar ballpark. Per Hits, the album should sell 19-22,000 pure copies this week. Its consumption total will land in the 21-24,000 range.

On track to move 245-265,000 copies (and 265-285,000 total units), Mumford & Sons’ “Wilder Mind” will win the weekly album sales race. NOW 54 (70-75,000 pure sales | 70-75,000 total units), Tech N9ne’s “Special Effects” (55-60,000 pure sales | 60-65,000 total units) and My Morning Jacket’s “The Waterfall” (25-28,000 pure sales | 27-30,000 total units) will also be on the map.
