Christina Aguilera’s “Shotgun,” Ryn Weaver’s “OctaHate” Debut on “Bubbling Under Hot 100”

Responsible for Christina Aguilera’s first presence on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (#28), “Shotgun” also earns the pop powerhouse a place on the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart.

Performed during the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards and featured on last week’s “Nashville,” Aguilera’s “Shotgun” debuts at #14 on this week’s “Bubbling Under.”

The chart lists the top songs that have yet to reach the actual Billboard Hot 100.

The song’s “Bubbling Under” debut comes in conjunction with a debut at #43 on Billboard’s Digital Songs subcharts. That position is attributable to its 30,000 weekly sales.

— Home to an established pop Diva in Christina, this week’s “Bubbling Under” chart also features an appearance by a buzzworthy pop newcomer.

Ryn Weaver, that newcomer, grabs the #23 position with “OctaHate.”

While “OctaHate” does not yet appear on any of the key Billboard subcharts (Digital Songs, Radio Songs or Streaming Songs), it has been making solid gains at pop radio. It appears at #30 on this week’s airplay-driven Billboard Pop Songs chart.

Other debuts on “Bubbling Under”:

6) DeJ Loaf – Me U & Hennessy (featuring Lil Wayne)
9) Jidenna – Classic Man (featuring Roman GianArthur)
15) Michael Ray – Kiss You in the Morning
16) Frankie Ballard – Young & Crazy
17) Brett Eldredge – Lose My Mind
18) Cameron Dallas – She Bad (featuring Sj3)
20) Young Thug – Check
22) James Bay – Hold Back the River
24) Rae Sremmurd – Come Get Her
