RDMA: Natalie La Rose, Fifth Harmony Perform the Opener (Watch Now)

Soon-to-be tourmates Natalie La Rose and Fifth Harmony opened the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Introduced briefly by host Zendaya, Natalie La Rose kicked the number off with her breakthrough hit “Somebody.”

Immediately following La Rose’s performanace, Fifth Harmony began singing a brief section of Whitney Houston’s classic “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” Given that the song’s hook is interpolated in La Rose’s single, the transition was a logical one.

After using the Whitney number to establish its presence, Fifth Harmony then performed its current single “Worth It.”
