Adam Lambert’s “Ghost Town” Ranks as Hot AC Radio’s Most Added Song

The lead single from Adam Lambert’s forthcoming “The Original High” ranks as this week’s most added song at hot adult contemporary radio.

According to Mediabase, the former “American Idol” contestant’s “Ghost Town” scored adds from 15 monitored Hot AC stations this week. No other song received as many pickups.

Currently #50 on Mediabase’s rolling hot adult contemporary airplay chart, “Ghost Town” will leverage the new wave of support to continue its climb.

Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband,” which is officially a Top 20 hit on the format’s airplay chart, ranks as second-most added this week. The follow-up to “Lips are Movin” won support from an additional 13 monitored stations.

Picked up by 10 monitored stations each, James Bay’s “Hold Back the River,” Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” and Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” tie for third-most added.

Other noteworthy Hot AC options included Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” (6th-most added, 9 adds), Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” (7th-most added, 8 adds), The Weeknd’s “Earned It” (8th-most added, 7 adds), Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” (9th-most added, 6 adds), Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Andy Grammer’s “Honey, I’m Good” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Grace Potter’s “Alive Tonight” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Katy Tiz’ “Whistle (While You Work It)” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody (featuring Jeremih)” (10th-most added, 5 adds) and Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” (10th-most added, 5 adds).
