Thanks to solid week-over-week airplay gains, a pair of EDM-pop songs jump into the top twenty of Mediabase’s official pop radio airplay chart.
After reaching #21 last week, David Guetta’s “Hey Mama (featuring Nicki Minaj and Afrojack)” vaults an additional five places to #16 on this week’s chart. It received ~5,284 spins during the April 19-25 tracking week, which bests last week’s count by a healthy ~966.
DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge’s “You Know You Like It” also reaches the top 20 this week. Up four places, “Like It” grabs #20 on the strength of its ~4,360 (+746) tracking week spins.
Knocking on the door of the weekly Top 20 is Echosmith’s “Bright.” #21 this week, the song received 4,282 spins during the most recent tracking week. With Tori Kelly’s #19 “Nobody Love” quickly fading, “Bright” will likely jump into the Top 20 this coming week.
