The young artist whose “Handwritten” holds the top spot on the Billboard 200 performed at Saturday’s Radio Disney Music Awards.
And he did not do so alone.
Shawn Mendes’ eagerly anticipated RDMA showcase included a collaboration with Sheppard. Currently climbing the pop radio chart with international hit “Geronimo,” the Australian act was a recent iHeartRadio “On the Verge” artist at hot adult contemporary.
Becky G also performed as part of Saturday’s event.
Dubbed “Music’s Biggest Event for Families,” the annual Radio Disney Music Awards ceremony will air as a Sunday evening telecast on Disney Channel.
In advance of that telecast, Disney issued a first look at the Mendes, Sheppard and Becky G performances.
