Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” Crosses the 500,000 Sales Mark

Tove Lo | ABC

If we’re talking “Talking Body,” we’re talking about a song with a US sales total in excess of 500,000.

According to Nielsen Music, the follow-up to Tove Lo’s breakthrough “Habits (Stay High)” moved approximately 63,000 copies during the tracking week ending April 19.

Enough to earn “Talking Body” the #15 position on Billboard’s Digital Songs subchart, it also brings the track’s cumulative US sales total to approximately 511,000 paid downloads.

The sales milestone comes as “Talking Body” breaks into the Top 20 on Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100. Up six places, the song grabs 18 on this week’s edition of that chart.

Increases in sales (5% to the aforementioned 63,000), radio audience (22% to 36 million impressions) and streaming (5% to 4.1 million US streams) are responsible for that Hot 100 gain.
