Walk The Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” Crosses the 1 Million Sales Mark

Walk the Moon’s crossover sensation “Shut Up and Dance” now boasts a US sales total in excess of 1 million.

According to Nielsen Music, “Shut Up and Dance, which was the week’s #2 Digital Song, moved approximately 146,000 copies during the track week ending April 19.

That weekly mark brings the album’s cumulative sum to roughly 1.110 million.

A former alternative radio #1, “Shut Up and Dance” is now a top ten single at hot adult contemporary radio and on the verge of reaching that portion of the pop airplay chart.

It holds the #8 spot on Billboard’s all-encompassing Hot 100.
