TV Land’s “Younger” Scores a 12 Episode Second Season

While the TV Land version of last week’s “Younger” suffered a considerable ratings decline last week, the network is happy with the show’s overall reach.

That reach, which comes from the weekly simulcast on Nick at Nite and from typical streaming, on demand and DVR playback, was strong enough for the network to issue a second season renewal.

Per an official network announcement, TV Land was renewed for a twelve episode second season.

“Younger is the first step in TV Land’s evolution, and we are very proud to announce a second season,” said TV Land’s Keith Cox.

“Younger” stars Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor and Nico Tortorella. Across four, multi-network episodes, it is averaging 1.16 million live+same-day viewers.
