Made obvious by its furious ascent to #1 on the latest Billboard Hot 100, Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” is a scorching hot song.

Unsurprisingly, it ranks as pop radio’s greatest airplay gainer this week.

According to Mediabase, the song received ~4,307 spins during the April 12-18 tracking week. That bests last week’s count by a whopping 2,584. While some songs came close–The Weeknd’s #5 “Earned It” added 2,354 spins, while Walk the Moon’s #13 “Shut Up and Dance” improved its weekly total by 1,940–no pop entry matched or exceeded the Paul Walker tribute’s week-over-week gain.

Thanks to its weekly total of ~4,307 spins, “See You Again” soars to #22 on this week’s Mediabase pop airplay chart. It was #34 last week.

“See You Again” is the week’s only addition to the Top 25.

— Not simply hot at pop, the Wiz Khalifa-Charlie Puth collaboration also ranks as the greatest airplay gainer at rhythmic radio.

Its weekly rhythmic spin count of ~1,883, which is enough for #17 on the chart (+13), bests last week’s total by 918.

Other big rhythmic gainers include Fetty Wap’s #6 “Trap Queen” (~4,701 spins, +678) and Rihanna’s #13 “Bitch Better Have My Money” (~2,921, +600).
