HBO Renews “Veep,” “Silicon Valley” Following Season Premieres

HBO has yet to publicly announce ratings for the season premieres of “Veep” and “Silicon Valley,” but it was evidently happy with how they performed.

Fewer than twenty four hours after airing the premieres, HBO formally renewed both series for next seasons.

The renewals assure a fifth season of “Veep” and a third round of “Silicon Valley.”

“VEEP and SILICON VALLEY are terrific series, and I’m immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year,” noted HBO’s Michael Lombardo. “Along with ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,’ both of which have already been renewed for 2016, they give HBO a stellar Sunday night like no other.”
